It’s a simplified and easy version, using open chords which is perfect for beginners and people who like things easy :)

The sound and technique is pretty much the same. You’ll learn how to pluck several strings simultaneously while playing chords with the other hand. It’s a really nice guitar tune to practice, play and sing along to.

The song is split up in two parts (part I and II) to keep the whole thing clear and understandable. Both parts are in the video. Again everything is explained slowly and in close up.

Today I’m gonna teach you a fingerpicking style version of the song Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. This song is covered by a lot of artists, which has made the song’s popularity increase. My number one favorite is Jeff Buckley’s cover, but also Damien Rice and Rufus Wainwright really know how to play this beautiful classic.

I’ve split up the song into the Intro, Verse part I, II, III, IV and the Chorus. They are all present in the video. Everything is explained slowly and in close up.

Today I’m gonna teach you a simplified guitar version of the song “Everybody Hurts” by REM. This fingering picking pattern is easier and more comfortable to play, which is great for beginners and it stills sounds great.
