Hi Rodrigo,

A good way to start is to look in cds booklets of similar artists and find out who their record label/company is. Who are their A&R managers and publishers? Now you can send your demos to these labels or people who have connections with these record labels. There is a lot of info you can find on the internet. Promote yourself on the internet via Youtube, Last.fm, MySpace.etc. Be fresh and original. Create your own sound. Nowadays it's easier to create a buzz around yourself thanx to the internet. Be creative and put yourself out there.

I wish you all the best!

I have awakened from a sleep at 32.(pardon my grammar)
I carry the rythm of africa in my veins, when in 2004 I danced in front of a church at the venice festival(Italy), to the beats of 25 percusionists I moved in such a way that when I took of my harlequin mask, i was being observed by a crowd. I once had a 1947 philco radio oscilating the night away, and I have grown fond of Krautrock.(I was able to match the oscilations of Join Inn {ash ra temple 2nd Album}to my 1947 philco in the silence of the peruvian lima night, mescaline induced, magical)
Now, i have done my homework, I seriously don´t know were to start, I once carried around a mini tape recorder and constantly taped various street and country noises, the results were mesmerizing, I look up to Sonic Boom, John Cage, and stay up flipping Roy Montgomery and flying saucer attack{Whole day song}, I want to join the crew, and I know patience is a virtue! What do you recommend, I am also a drummer, and I know, that in 100 years things will have a totally different meaning.

Hi klaus,

It was a great lesson yesterday and what you are writing is very educational.

I like to use effects. It will make the music different and you don't have to do a lot to make it sound like a song.

But it's true that it's difficult to make that song, because i'm to much busy with making it sound right.
I hope i didn't make to much mistakes in my english writing because i never do this.

See you in 2 weeks.
greets Bart
