Hmmm . . . . All is good, but I just want more : You wrote more about the guitar (acoustic vs electric) and its deployment (keep it in sight and uncluttered) rather than the design of the room. I was hoping for a discussion of the acoustics. In rooms that are small boxes do we like the short reverberation time ? like singing in the shower ?, In slightly larger boxes do we not like the parallel reflecting surfaces ? When is "egg-crate" foam acoustic treatment helpful in a practice room (outside of the recording studio)? How about Feng-Shui ? etc. etc.

Hey Rob,

I'm glad I could add some more tips.
You are right the solution can often be quite simple, we just need to be reminded once in a while.

Hai Klaus,
Always a pleasure and always inspiring reading your posts. This post is powerful by its simplicity and though I recognize a few of your keys, they contain a few as well, I can still improve. Thanx
