I am a freelance guitar player, primarily a cover musician. I specialize in the Billboard top 100 tunes from the 50′s through the 80′s. I have a niche in mind, specifically campsite entertainment, but don’t know how to market myself to it. I will soon have a website that will serve as an electronic presskit, but it will do me little good unless I can steer the right people to see it. In your opinion, should I be seeking the services of a marketing specialist to help me reach my target demographic?

All doable opportunities but first you have to commit yourself to doing ‘something’ and then you have to ‘do it’. Not always an easy thing for most people.

If you have a natural entrepreneurial spirit, a skill, you’re a self-starter and you have the will to be successful, you’ll be on your way ;-)
